Char-Lan District High School has a 'one-school model' with respect to Student Council. Our Student Council consists of grades 7 - 12. Our Secondary student council works with the Intermediate student council and is inclusive in most activities. Our students meet weekly, in person, during lunch hour to plan activities for the student body. Our goal is to promote school spirit and participation in school activities. Student Council also plans the Clan activities. This is a whole school group activity to promote school spirit and fun! Other activities include the following: monthly dress up theme days, monthly awareness campaigns, bi - monthly clan activities, school spirit wear, St. Andrew's Day, week long activities at Halloween, Christmas and prior to March Break.
